Tree of Life’s Fundraising - How It Works

We developed a business model and culture that engages customers and the cannabis industry, transforming profits and advocacy into lasting community impact.

Our fundraising strategy blends customer generosity, purpose-driven profit reinvestment, vendor partnerships, and industry advocacy to cultivate opportunities to give back.

When you round up your purchase at checkout, 100% of those extra cents go directly to nonprofits—no deductions, no processing fees, just pure community support.
Tree of Life dedicates 70% of corporate profits to sustaining the essential work of local nonprofits. This funding helps organizations continue delivering critical services — ensuring your purchase supports mission-driven work and sustains the vital programs meeting our community’s most pressing needs.
Through our Vendor Spotlights, we create collaborative fundraising opportunities with cannabis brands that share our commitment to community support.
Tree of Life actively encourages other cannabis businesses to support local nonprofits by sharing our giving model, highlighting community needs, and showcasing the impact of partner organizations. Through this advocacy, we help foster a culture where giving back becomes a shared commitment across the industry.
Giving Trees was created to do more. A portion of every sale provides dedicated support to Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada, and our in-house model generates more sustainable philanthropic funding. When customers choose Giving Trees, they’re supporting a model designed to ensure consistent access to care for community members with the greatest need.

Growing a More Inclusive Community

Tree of Life has built strong relationships with Southern Nevada’s LGBTQIA+ community and is a major supporter of The Center (thecenterlv.org), contributing more than $20,000 this year alone. These funds support vital programs including the Nikki Woods Memorial Closet, workforce skills training initiatives, and winter coat drives.

Tree of Life is also a proud sponsor and active participant in Vegas PRIDE (lasvegaspride.org), including sponsorship of the Transtopia activation and the annual PRIDE Parade.

In addition, we support other local LGBTQIA+ organizations such as Nevada Alliance for Student Diversity (allianceforstudentdiversity.org) and the now-shuttered but deeply impactful Gender Justice, each of which has made meaningful contributions to equity and inclusion in our community.

Tree of Life is proud to stand alongside and invest in this vibrant, essential part of the Las Vegas community.

Cannabis for Community Causes

Beyond our clinic-focused giving, Tree of Life channels community funding—powered by customer purchases, vendor partnerships, in-store round-ups, direct donations, and a portion of our profits—to nonprofits meeting urgent, everyday needs across Southern Nevada.

Support for Caridad (caridadcharity.com) and The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada (salvationarmysouthernnevada.org) helps provide meals, emergency shelter, and case management for neighbors facing homelessness or instability. Investments in El Shaddai Refuge Homes CDC (elshaddairefugehomescdc.org) help prevent homelessness—connecting men, women, and children, especially youth aging out of foster care, to essentials, transportation, childcare, and job skills support.

We also champion inclusion and independence for children and families. Grants to Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation (nvblindchildren.org), Real Autism Difference (RAD) (radlv.org), and the Ability Center of Southern Nevada (abilitycenternv.org) expand access to adaptive learning, social programs, and sensory therapy.
